Funny how it seems that once Halloween is over and November arrives we shift our focus to the upcoming holidays. That means decorating, baking, socializing and of course gift buying. Two events are bringing in the holiday season this week and weekend. Thursday evening is the opening of Waverly House Gifts and Gallery's artist reception. This juried show is inspired by the theme "Dreams" and features artists in all mediums. There is also a silent auction benefitting "A Sporting Chance" with many great gift items to bid on. Get some shopping done and give to a great cause at the same time.

I will also be participating in Temple Israel's Artfest on Sunday November 11, 2018. This intimate and friendly show features several artists working in a variety of mediums with an emphasis on well priced gift items. Oh and a bonus feature is the fantastic food, plan to come out and have a bite to eat while getting some early shopping done.
